Leonardo 500
July 19-20, 2008
OSU Lower Campus
Saturday: 2-4pm
Sunday: 2-4pm
Here's a scaled-down kinetic sculpture race for the younger set with smaller than life-size sculptures under battery, solar, or some other stored power. Make a sculpture or get a seat ringside to cheer on your favorite team!

Race Awards
Sculptures race as fast as possible over a 500cm racetrack with style and artistry, winning up to 10 points (for a maximum of 30 points) in each of these categories:
  • Artistry: craftsmanship and pageantry

  • Engineering: design, construction, and raceability

  • Speed: time to complete the course
Race Prizes
Four awards are given in each race division:

da Vinci's Choice: Highest combined scores
