Special Awards

da Vinci Spirit Award
This award goes to the film that most represents the concept of da Vinci Days either in subject matter or how the film was made. This year the da Vinci Spirit Award plaque goes to The Highest Step in the World by Michael Lennick, which also won the Best Documentary award.

Projectionist's Favorite
We have one projectionist the entire weekend. Since he's the only person to watch every single film, we feel he's allowed to pick his favorite after sitting in the dark for hours on end!
